"Pro SQL Server Disaster Recovery"

Many people
can be driven to perfection without outwardly saying so. While the typical perfectionist
announces to the world that what exists is insufficient, other perfectionists might simply
hide their work, destroy it, or have their dogs eat it. They??™ll do anything but let someone
see work that they consider inferior.
What Is Valued?
Of course, perfectionists value perfection above all else, but that is an abstract concept.
Nothing can be perfect, complete, or the best of all possible scenarios. The key to really
understanding perfectionists is not in what they value, but in what they dislike??”that is,
anything that??™s imperfect, incomplete, or a compromise. This might seem like a positive
quality trait, but perfectionists end up seeing only the negative in things.
What Problems Does This Create?
Any activity that is iterative is painful to perform for perfectionists. They keep seeing
what isn??™t included in any given iteration. Any plan that admits to some deficiencies or
compromises is essentially admitting that perfection can never be reached. That??™s like
punching a perfectionist in the stomach.
