How well does it protect your data? It turns out that database mirroring can literally protect
you in every scenario (with some exceptions):

??? Environmental: As long as the mirror database exists at a separate physical location,
database mirroring can be the perfect protection against any sort of environmental
disaster. In particular, if you can run the mirror database in High Availability mode,
everything will be protected.
??? Hardware: Even if you mirror from one server in your data center to another in the
same physical location, database mirroring can be the perfect protection against
hardware failure.
