If you were to start mirroring immediately after completing the Configure Security
wizard, it would automatically start in High Availability mode (High Safety mode with
automatic failover)??”that is, if it could start at all. If you look closely, the names of the
servers are not fully qualified domain names (FQDNs), so it??™s likely that mirroring would
fail, as shown in Figure 8-24.

You were warned about this earlier, as you can see in Figure 8-25. This leaves me, the
author, in a quandary. If I were to complete this walkthrough, I??™d have to give the FQDN
of my server. The paranoid DBA in me doesn??™t want to do that.
