You can either go to Management
Studio to view the properties of the database you want to ???ship,??? or you can
right-click on the database in question and then go to Tasks ?¤ Ship Transaction Logs,
as shown in Figure 6-8.

Whether you go directly to the properties of the database or use the right-click menu,
you??™re taken to the same screen, shown in Figure 6-9.

Of course, the Enable check box won??™t be checked when you start. Once you do check
that box, the Backup Settings button will become available. From the Backup Settings
screen, you can designate a central backup location that both the primary and standby
servers can access. SQL Server 2005??™s built-in log-shipping automation only works with
file shares, not with FTP or HTTP.
