Hardware Cost
Yes, there is an obvious price tag to hardware, but consider everything that is involved
in selecting hardware. Do you have a preferred vendor? If not, it??™s time to look at your
options and consider the best price vs. performance vs. quality. Do you have a hardware
expert on staff to do that research? To perform a thorough job, that staff member
may need to invest a significant amount of time. He might not have time to perform his
other tasks, or his daily tasks might prevent him from doing a thorough job and/or
completing the research in a timely manner.
