Let's look at the steps on how to do so:
1. From the Navigator, right-click on the Classic_Cars_BIRT_Reports project,
and choose Team|Share Project....

2. From the repository type screen, select CVS.
3. Input the necessary information to connect to the repository as follows:

4. Specify a Module Name, or choose to use the Eclipse Project name as the
repository project name.
5. Click on Finish.

6. You will then be asked to enter a comment for the Commit of new files.

7. Now, your files have been stored in the repository. In the Navigator, a
version number and type will appear next to each file. When you edit a file,
it will only affect the local copy, and an indicator will appear next to the file
indicating that a change has been made. In the following screenshot, the
HelloWorld.rptdesign has been edited.

8. With a project shared, the Team menu will change and have additional
options. You can Synchronize with repository, which will do a comparison
between files to show which files are different on the repository, and which
ones have been edited locally. You can Commit files to the repository, and
you can Update your local files from the repository. You can also Disconnect
from the repository, which will bring you back to the state where you can
only edit your local files, and they will not be shared.
