2. Go ahead and click on each of the categories on the left-hand side. The ones
that are unique to the XML Data Sets are the ones we have already seen??”the
XML Data Set, Table Mapping, and Column Mapping.

Expression: row["jobTitle"].toUpperCase()
Operator: Equal To

To make the Expression editing easier, you can use the function button
located next to the Expression text box, to build your expression using the expression
editor. When you do so, you will see an extra category called Available Data Sets
that was not visible before, when we saw the Expression Editor. This Category is
only visible when working with Data Sets or components that are bound to data.

5. Hit OK. Now, we can see the filter expression in our list of filters.
Filters are useful when you are dealing with non-database Data Sets, or any Data Set
for which the back end does not have any sort of filtering capabilities. So now, let's
say you wanted to add a computed column that will return the number of characters
in the first name and the last name. We could do this from the Computed Columns
category, under the Data Set Editor. Let's take a look at how to do this:
