"Practical Data Analysis and Reporting with BIRT"

Under the Body item, expand. You can see the Label, the Text
element, the Dynamic Text element, and the Grid.
5. Expand the Grid. You should see two Row items. Expand the first Row, and
you should see two Cell items. The first Cell will have the option to expand.
This is because we have the Eclipse Image in that cell.
6. In the Outline, select the Label, and drag it onto the second Cell object
under the first Row. You can see that the Cell gets the Label added under
it, making the Label the lowest item in the hierarchy. It will also move the
Label with the Hello World text in the Report Designer pane into the second
column, first row cell.
7. Collapse the first row item. Right-click on the second row item. A Dialog
with the option to insert a new row above or below the current row appears.
In our case, it really doesn't matter which one you pick, as the current row is
empty. Go ahead and select Insert row below. A new row gets added, and
we can see visually a new row appears in the Report Designer.

8. In the Report Designer, move the mouse to the Grid until a little tab pops up
that says Grid. When it does, click on that tab. In the Report Designer pane,
this is usually the way you will need to get the option to select an entire
container component, such as a Table, Grid, or List.
