from your computer to your removable flash
drive. After safely removing the device from
your system, you can connect it to a USB port
on another computer and transfer your files.

flash drive.
TIP
If you do decide to use DVD discs to back up your files,
use Gold Archival DVD discs. They??™re more expensive
(as of this writing, over $2.00 per disc), but they do
have a longer life (some manufacturers claim a 35-year
lifespan), since the gold does not break down. You can
also purchase Gold CDs.
