Unfortunately, the
file name doesn??™t give you a clue about the image. You
can use the Organizer to rename every digital image
it contains. For example, if you have a folder filled with
JPEG images from your vacation to Disneyland, you can
rename the files Disney-1.jpg, Disney-2.jpg, and so on.
1. Open the Photoshop Elements Organizer
workspace, as outlined previously.
2. Select the files you want to rename by clicking
their thumbnails. You can select contiguous files
by holding down the SHIFT key and clicking the
first and last thumbnails of the files you want to
rename. You can select noncontiguous files by
holding down the CTRL key (Windows) or the
COMMAND key (Macintosh) and clicking each file
you want to select.
3. Choose File | Rename. The Rename dialog box
appears.
4. Enter a name and click OK. Photoshop Elements
renames the selected images with the specified
name appended by -1, -2, etc.
