You can
easily delete one or more files from the Organizer.
1. Select the thumbnails of the images you want
to delete.
2. Choose Edit | Delete Selected Items From
Catalog. The Confirm Deletion From Catalog
dialog box appears.
3. Click the Also Delete Selected Item(s) From
The Hard Disk check box to delete the images
from both the catalog and your computer.
4. Click OK to delete the selected thumbnails from
the catalog and, if specified, the hard drive.

file format. When you batch-process files, you can also rename the files,
resize them, specify a different destination folder, and so on.
1. Launch Photoshop Elements and switch to Full Edit or Quick Fix mode.
2. Choose File | Process Multiple Files to open the Process Multiple Files dialog box.

RENAMING YOUR DIGITAL IMAGES
When you take a picture with your digital camera, the
camera creates a file name for the image. The file
name contains a prefix (determined by the camera
manufacturer) followed by a number.
