TIP
By default, Photoshop Elements automatically imports
images into the Organizer when you connect your
camera or card reader. If you prefer to manually import
images, choose Edit Preference. Click Camera Or
Card Reader, and then clear the Auto Launch Adobe
Photo Downloader On Device Connect option.
TIP
Clear the Fix Red-Eye option, unless you??™re importing
folders with images of people that may contain red-eye,
as this will speed up the import process. When the Fix
Red-Eye option is enabled, Photoshop Elements looks
for red-eye in every photo.
TIP
To prevent the information dialog box from appearing
each time you import images, click the Don??™t Show
Again check box.

View Images in the Organizer
When you open the Organizer, the last images you viewed appear in the
main window. You can control the size of thumbnails, view single images,
or watch a slide show in Full Screen mode. When you display images
as thumbnails, you have the
equivalent of a digital light box.
Change Organizer
View
You can change the thumbnail size
at any time. Doing this enables
you to view more thumbnails at
one time when you select a small
thumbnail size or more image
details when you choose a larger
thumbnail size.
