To import
images into the Organizer:
1. Open the Photoshop Elements Organizer, as
outlined previously.
2. Choose File | Get Photos, and then choose the
desired option from the submenu, as shown here.
As you can see from this illustration, you
can import photos from a card reader,
your scanner, from a mobile phone, and so
on. The following steps show you how to
import a folder of images.
1. Choose File | Get Photos | From Files And
Folders to display the Get Photos From Files
And Folders dialog box.
2. Navigate to the folder that contains the images you want to import. At this stage, you
can click Open to open the folder and select individual images or click Get Photos to
import the entire folder. You also have the option to import photos from subfolders and
to automatically fix red-eye, if detected. These options are selected by default. After
you import photos, a dialog box appears, telling you that the items in the main window
are the ones you just imported.
3. Click Back To All Photos to view your entire catalog.
NOTE
All discussions on Photoshop Elements Organizer in this
chapter refer to the Windows version of the application.
TIP
You can also launch the Organizer workspace by
clicking the Organize icon within the Quick Fix or Full
Edit workspaces.
