TIP
Don??™t delete your RAW files after processing them. RAW
image files are like film negatives. You can reprocess
them using different settings as needed to create new
images. Archive your RAW image files to a CD or DVD
for future use.
TIP
To increase magnification of the image, choose an option
from the Magnification Window drop-down menu, which
is in the lower-right corner of the Camera Raw dialog
box. Alternatively, you can press CTRL+PLUS sign (+) in
Windows or CMD+PLUS SIGN (+) in Macintosh to increase
magnification.

Create Selections
In the previous sections, you learned how to make adjustments to your digital
images. However, sometimes you only need to adjust part of an image, for
example, applying the Brightness/Contrast command to just the person in the
image and not the background. You can apply an adjustment, or for that matter
a filter (which will be covered in Chapter 8), to a portion of an image after you
make a selection.
