ADJUST SKIN TONES
If you photograph portraits, you may notice
that the skin tones don??™t look right in certain
lighting conditions. You can easily fix a photo
by adjusting the image color for the subject??™s
skin tone.
1. Open the image you want to adjust.
2. Choose Enhance | Adjust Color | Adjust Color
For Skin Tone to open the Adjust Color For Skin
Tone dialog box.
3. Click an area of the subject??™s skin. Photoshop
Elements adjusts the colors based on the area you
clicked. If you don??™t like the results, click another
area. Alternatively, you can drag the Tan and
Blush sliders to modify the subject??™s skin tone. If
you??™re satisfied with the results, go to step 5.
4. Drag the Temperature slider to change the color of
the ambient light. Drag to the left to cool the image;
drag to the right to warm the image.
5. Click OK to apply the changes.
Process RAW Images
Many high-end digital cameras and all digital SLRs can capture images in the
RAW format.
