You can use the Color Cast command to remove a color
cast if you have areas in the image that you know are
supposed to be pure black, nuetral gray, or pure white.
1. Choose Enhance | Adjust Color | Color Cast
to open the Color Cast Correction dialog box,
as shown below. Notice that the image being
corrected has a red color cast.
2. Click the Eyedropper icon, and click a spot in
the image that you know should be pure black,
neutral gray, or pure white. In the case of this
image, certain areas of the bird??™s plumage should
be pure white.
3. Click OK to remove the color cast.

2. Choose Enhance | Adjust Color | Color Variations to open the Color Variations
dialog box. The following illustration shows a picture with a couple of variation
adjustments applied. On the left is the ???before??? image; on the right is a preview with
adjustments applied.
3. Select the tonal range you want to adjust. Your options are Midtones, Shadows, and
Highlights.
4. Drag the Amount slider to determine how much color adjustment is applied. If you
only need subtle color adjustments, drag the slider toward the left.
