To
edit an image in Quick Fix mode:
1. Launch Photoshop Elements.
2. Click the Quickly Fix Photos icon on the Welcome screen. After clicking the icon, the
application loads the Quick Fix workspace, as shown in Figure 7-1.

3. Choose File | Open, navigate to the image you want to edit, and then open the file.
4. In the Smart Fix area, click Auto. Photoshop Elements applies what it deems are the
optimal changes to fix your image.
5. Drag the Amount slider to apply a higher level of all fixes to the image.
6. Choose one of the following options from the View drop-down menu: After Only,
Before Only, Before And After (Portrait), or Before And After (Landscape). The
following image shows a photo being edited in Quick Fix mode with the Before And After
(Landscape) view. The View menu is located in the lower-left corner of the workspace.
ADJUST LIGHTING
If the lighting changes applied with the smart fix are not acceptable, you
can modify them to suit the needs of your photo.
