Let??™s now talk about the exam itself.
Taking the Linux+ Exam
The Linux+ exam is a timed exam that is delivered electronically on a computer.
It??™s composed of 98 questions that you will have 90 minutes to complete. The exam
interface is fairly straightforward. Each item is displayed one at a time on the screen,
as shown in Figure I-1.
As you can see in Figure I-1, the Linux+ exam presents you with a question
along with a series of responses. You use the mouse to mark the appropriate response
and then select Next to go to the next question. If you need to go back to a prior
question, select Previous.
The exam is composed of several types of questions:
?– Multiple Choice The multiple-choice question format presents you with a
question and asks you to mark the correct answer from a list of choices. The
bulk of the questions on the Linux+ exam are multiple-choice questions.
Most multiple-choice questions require only one answer; some will require
you to select multiple correct responses from the list displayed. If this is the
case, the test question will end with the text (Choose x.
