Next we plot the BER versus the number of CCI, P, using M5 antenna receiver. MMSE showed
small improvement or degradation as P increased. Also we can see how our WSS with known subspace
dimensions compares the case where the rank of the covariance matrix is determined to the case
when the estimated subspace dimension (MSINR-WSS).
Figure 5.67 shows us that the MSINR-WSS weights accurately reflect the rank of the covariance
matrix. This technique is significantly better than using the conventional MMSE array weights.
Lastly, we plot the BER versus for SINR for M2 and M5 antennas. Here we see M5 antennas
case, the performance improvement increases as M increases (see Fig. 5.68).
