In comparing these results to those represented earlier, it can be seen that latter multipath lifetime
values measured in Korea/Germany are larger than those measured in Helsinki. As we will discuss
this important point in the later chapters, it is worthy of a short discussion in this chapter.
The point in this topic is that there is a lifetime of a multipath and it varies from one geographic
location (country) to another. This imposes a great design constraint for CDMAterminals. They must
be able to operate in any (or close to) environment it encounters in real life. We will see how important
a multipath searcher becomes to combat the birth and death of multipaths.
