The first point to make here is to observe the units of the excess delayed multipaths are expressed
in nanoseconds. As you would expect there are plenty of propagation measurements at various carrier
frequencies made for differing bandwidths. We will first give a summary of comparisons made
between 900 MHz and 1.9 GHz since this is of immediate interest. Comparisons to other frequencies
will be provided latter in this section.
In residential homes, office building and factories RMS statistical information was collected and
separately discussed in terms of line of sight (LOS) and non-line of sight (NLOS) cases. For presentation

purposes, a summary can be provided and shown in
Table 3.1 when considering the indoor propagation
measurements.
In considering the contributions listed above
we noticed the measurement parameters were not
all exactly the same, such as carrier frequency
( fc), BS antenna height (hBS), mobile antenna
height (hMS), and cell size. No attempt has been made to normalize the published data to a given
set of parameters because the results overwhelmingly were in agreement in terms of their conclusions.
